Sabah's oil-palm plantations and smallholdings are on the front line of Malaysia's elephant-farm conflict, alongside statewide wild boar and monkey pressure.
Sabah is home to the Bornean pygmy elephant, and plantation-fringe farms — particularly in the east coast districts near Kinabatangan and Lahad Datu — deal with some of the most serious elephant-crop conflict anywhere in the country. Wild boar and monkey pressure is widespread across the rest of the state's oil-palm and fruit smallholdings.
Elephant-rated systems here use higher-output energizers, reinforced posts, and layouts we review with your team before install — this is not a category we recommend as a self-service kit. Farms further from elephant corridors use our standard wild-boar/monkey-rated systems.
We supply energizer kits and coordinate with regional installers to reach Sabah's east and west coast farm districts.

Available for farms in Sabah — Premium and smart energizers with built-in warning buzzer and external alarm support — Pemall's top-of-range choice for farms that want performance and peace of mind.
It's most critical for plantation-fringe farms near Kinabatangan and Lahad Datu, where Bornean pygmy elephant activity is well documented. Farms further inland or away from elephant corridors typically only need standard wild-boar/monkey-rated fencing.
We recommend staff review before installing any elephant-rated system, given the higher energizer output and the safety and effectiveness considerations involved — this isn't a category we sell as a plain self-service kit.
