Product Description
ProFence PW23 Electric Fence Polywire combines UV-stabilised polymers with six stainless-steel conductors for outdoor electric fencing. Its lightweight, flexible construction makes the wire easy to install, reposition and wind for reuse. Specifications - Nominal diameter: 2.3 mm - Nominal roll length: 500 m - Conductor material: stainless steel - Conductor count: 6 - Individual conductor diameter: 0.20 mm - UV-stabilised polymer construction Suitable applications - Temporary livestock enclosures - Moveable paddock divisions - Farm and plantation crop protection - Animal deterrent fencing with an appropriate energizer and fence design Installation and care - Use a suitable electric fence energizer, insulated posts or insulators, and compatible connectors. - Adjust tension to support the fence line without overstretching the polywire. - Keep the conductor clear of grass, trees and unintended metal contact to reduce leakage. - Check fence voltage after installation and during routine maintenance. - Wind neatly for storage and inspect for damaged strands before reuse. Fence performance depends on conductor resistance, total fence length, energizer capacity, earthing and vegetation contact. Roll length is not a guaranteed powered fence distance.
Why it helps
- Install and reposition fence lines more easily with lightweight, flexible wire.
- Identify fence lines more readily with a high-visibility conductor.
- Wind, store and reuse the wire as enclosure layouts change.
- Support outdoor use with UV-resistant material.
