Product Description
StarLite S35 3.5J Premium Electric Fence Energizer
Higher Energy. Intelligent Fault Monitoring. Built for Demanding Farm Protection.
The StarLite S35 is a premium 3.5 Joule electric fence energizer designed for farms, orchards, plantations and livestock applications requiring greater energy reserve than smaller electric fence systems.
Delivering up to 12–14kV peak output voltage, the S35 combines powerful high-voltage pulse performance with short-circuit detection, alarm indication and an IP55 weather-resistant enclosure.
With 12V DC operation and solar compatibility, the StarLite S35 is particularly suitable for remote farms and plantations where reliable off-grid electric fencing is required.
⚡ Powerful 3.5 Joule Output
The StarLite S35 delivers up to 3.5 Joules of pulse output energy, providing additional energy reserve for more demanding electric fence installations.
Compared with lower-output energizers, the S35 is better suited to installations involving:
Longer fence perimeters
Multiple fence wires
Moderate vegetation
Greater electrical loading
Larger agricultural areas
Livestock containment
Wildlife deterrence
The additional Joule capacity helps maintain effective fence performance when electrical loading increases.
⚡ 12–14kV Peak Output
Why it helps
Designed for electric-fence security and livestock management.
Supports farm, pasture and wildlife-fence applications.
Alarm or monitoring functions help identify fence issues where fitted.

Power Source
AC Mains Via Included Adapter, 12 V DC Battery, Solar Compatible With 12 V Battery And Charge Controller
The S35 generates up to 12–14kV peak high-voltage output with an approximately 1-second pulse interval.
The short high-voltage pulses travel through the live fence conductor to create an effective deterrent when an animal contacts a properly installed electric fence.
Actual voltage measured along the fence depends on grounding, conductor resistance, vegetation, connections and overall electrical leakage.
🚨 Short-Circuit Detection & Alarm
The StarLite S35 incorporates short-circuit monitoring to help users identify abnormal electric fence conditions.
A short circuit or excessive electrical loading may be caused by:
Live wire contacting the ground
Heavy grass or vegetation
Damaged insulators
Loose or incorrect connections
Fallen branches
Excessive fence leakage
The built-in monitoring system provides an additional layer of protection and makes it easier to identify potential fence problems during routine inspections.
💡 Easy System Monitoring
The StarLite S35 provides clear operating indicators to help users quickly check energizer status.
Depending on the selected version, system information can include:
Power status
Working condition
High-voltage output
Fence condition
Short-circuit status
This makes the StarLite S35 particularly useful for agricultural installations where quickly identifying fence faults can reduce downtime.
☀️ Designed for Solar Electric Fencing
The StarLite S35 is suitable for off-grid solar electric fence systems.
For a pure solar-powered S35 installation, the manufacturer's reference configuration is:
100W Solar Panel + 60Ah 12V Battery + 10A PWM Solar Charge Controller
Typical connection:
Solar Panel → Charge Controller → 12V Battery → StarLite S35 → Electric Fence
Solar panel and battery capacity may be increased depending on local sunlight, weather conditions and required backup duration.
🔋 12V DC Operation
The StarLite S35 operates from a DC 12V / 2A power supply, making it straightforward to integrate with battery and solar-powered agricultural installations.
This makes the energizer especially practical for:
Remote farms
Oil palm plantations
Orchards
Agricultural land without mains electricity
Mobile or temporary livestock fencing
🌧️ IP55 Weather-Resistant Construction
The StarLite S35 features a durable ABS engineering-plastic enclosure with IP55 protection.
The enclosure is designed to provide protection against dust and water exposure and supports outdoor installation.
For maximum long-term reliability, installation under a suitable rain cover or protected location is still recommended, especially because electric fence energizers normally operate continuously.
🐗 Suitable Applications
When incorporated into a correctly designed electric fence system, the StarLite S35 can be used for:
Wild Boar / Babi Hutan
Monkey / Monyet
Cattle / Lembu
Goat / Kambing
Sheep / Biri-biri
Livestock containment
Orchard protection
Oil palm plantation
Vegetable and crop farms
Agricultural perimeter protection
General wildlife deterrence
The correct fence height, number of wires and energizer capacity should always be selected according to the target animal and actual installation conditions.
🌿 Greater Energy Reserve for Fence Loading
Vegetation is one of the most common causes of reduced electric fence performance.
Grass, leaves, branches, moisture and damaged insulators can allow energy to leak from the live fence conductor.
With its 3.5J output, the S35 provides greater energy reserve than the S20 for installations where moderate fence loading may occur.
However, higher Joule capacity does not replace proper maintenance. Vegetation should still be regularly cleared and fence faults repaired.
🌍 Proper Grounding Is Essential
Grounding plays a critical role in electric fence performance.
The manufacturer's technical documentation specifies a grounding resistance target of ≤10Ω for reliable operation.
For best performance:
Install sufficient grounding rods
Use suitable high-voltage lead-out cable
Keep connections secure and corrosion-free
Minimize vegetation touching live wires
Regularly inspect insulators
Test fence voltage periodically
Use appropriate lightning protection
For longer fence perimeters, additional grounding arrangements may be required depending on soil conductivity and site conditions.
⭐ Why Choose StarLite S35?
The StarLite S35 is designed for users who require more energy reserve than a standard 2J energizer while retaining the monitoring and outdoor-ready features of the StarLite range.
Its combination of:
3.5J Output + 12–14kV Peak Voltage + Short-Circuit Monitoring + IP55 Protection + Solar Compatibility
makes it a strong choice for medium and more demanding agricultural electric fence installations.
S20 or S35?
Choose the energizer according to the actual fence load, rather than simply choosing the largest Joule rating.
StarLite S20 – 2.0J
A practical choice for smaller to medium, properly maintained electric fence systems.
StarLite S35 – 3.5J
Provides additional energy reserve for longer perimeters, additional fence wires, vegetation and greater electrical loading.
Actual requirements depend on fence design, grounding, vegetation, conductor resistance and site conditions.
⚠️ Important
Higher Joule does not automatically mean a better electric fence.
Electric fence performance depends on the complete system:
A correctly installed and maintained system is essential for reliable performance.
